About Graeme

A steady hand in family matters.

I’m a family lawyer in British Columbia. My practice covers parenting arrangements, separation and divorce, and child protection matters, with clients across the Lower Mainland.

Every family is different, and every family law matter calls for a thoughtful approach. My job is to make sure you feel heard, give you grounded legal advice, and help you reach a workable outcome, through negotiated settlement where possible and through the court process where it’s necessary.

What you can expect from working with me: straight answers about your options, honest assessments of where your matter is likely to land, predictable costs, and steady representation from the first conversation through to resolution.

If that’s the kind of representation you’re looking for, I’d be glad to hear from you.

Practice areas

Three areas. One careful approach.

  1. 01

    Parenting arrangements

Custody, access, and parenting plans designed to work over the long term. Includes orders, agreements, and disputes involving the care of children. Focused on reducing conflict and keeping the well-being of children at the centre of every decision.

  2. 02

    Separation & divorce

Resolving the legal end of marriage and common-law relationships: division of property and assets, spousal and child support, separation agreements, and marriage or cohabitation agreements where they’re needed. The goal is a clear, workable resolution, reached outside the courtroom where it’s possible to do so.

  3. 03

    Child protection

Representing parents and families in matters involving the Ministry of Children and Family Development, where the welfare of a child is in question. Quiet, careful work in some of the most difficult moments a family can face.

Discuss your matter.

Contact the office to arrange an initial consultation. I’ll hear out your situation, explain your options, and give you an honest read on what comes next.
